University of Southern Maine RN to BSN




 

Basic Information: The University of Southern Maine is located in Portland, Maine.  This program is meant for Registered Nurses wanting to obtain their BSN. The majority of programs require that you have your associate's degree in nursing (ADN). 

Must Dos: Students must apply to the University of Southern Maine and to the College of Nursing.

Prerequisites: Courses include English Composition, Psychology, Sociology, Ethical Inquiry, Statistics, Anatomy & Physiology I/II, Growth & Development, Pathophysiology, Microbiology, and Chemistry.

Prior Classwork Information: Students must have at least a 2.5 cumulative GPA.
