University of Rochester RN to BSN




 

Basic Information: The University of Rochester is located in Rochester, New York.  This program is meant for Registered Nurses wanting to obtain their BSN. The majority of programs require that you have your associate's degree in nursing (ADN).

Must Dos: Students must apply to the College of Nursing.

Program Length: This program is 32 credit hours long.

Nursing Prerequisites: Courses include three courses in Humanities, four courses in Natural Sciences, four courses in Social Sciences, and additional electives to total 64 credit hours.  Within the categories listed, courses that are required to be taken by the School of Nursing are English Composition, Genetics, Nutrition, and Statistics.

Prior Classwork Information: It is preferred that students have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.

Admission Tests: International students must take the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) exam.
