University of Missouri-Kansas City RN to BSN




 

Basic Information: The University of Missouri is located in Kansas City, Missouri.  This program is meant for Registered Nurses wanting to obtain their BSN.  The majority of programs require that you have your associate's degree in nursing (ADN).

Must Dos: Students must apply to the University of Missouri and to the College of Nursing.

Program Length: Length is dependent on how many courses students have already taken in general education credits.  All students must complete a total of 28 nursing credit hours required by the University of Missouri-Kansas City.

Nursing Prerequisites: Students must complete 56 credit hours in general education coursework including English Composition I/II, Philosophy, History or Political Science, Quantitative Analysis of the Health Sciences, and Pathophysiology.

Prior Classwork Information: Students must have a cumulative GPA of at least a 2.5 or better.
