University of Mississippi RN to BSN




 

Basic Information: The University of Mississippi is located in Oxford, Mississippi.  This program is meant for Registered Nurses wanting to obtain their BSN.  The majority of programs require that you have your associate's degree in nursing (ADN). 

Must Dos: Students must apply to the University of Mississippi and to the College of Nursing.

Program Length: There are multiple start dates available with both part-time and full-time plans.  Contact the counselor about how long the program will take you to complete.  If taken full-time then the program is three semesters long.  A list of the class schedule can be found here

Nursing Prerequisites: There are 62 credit hours of prerequisite classes which can be found here.  All prerequisite courses must be completed with a grade of at least a C or better.

Prior Classwork Information: Students must have at least a 2.5 cumulative GPA in prior classwork.
