Second Degree Accelerated BSN
Basic Information: The University of Miami is located in Miami, Florida. The accelerated BSN program brochure can be found here. This program is for students who have already earned a bachelor's degree in another field and have finished the basic requirements for their BSN.
Must Dos: Students must apply to the University of Miami and to the College of Nursing.
Program Length: Three semesters.
Nursing Prerequisites: Courses include Anatomy with Lab, Physiology, Chemistry with Lab, Microbiology, Psychology, Nutrition, Statistics, and Human Growth & Development. Students must pass these classes with at least a C or better.
Prior Classwork Information: Must have a cumulative and prerequisite GPA of at least 3.0 or better.
