University of Kansas RN to BSN




 

Basic Information: The University of Kansas is located in Kansas City, Kansas.  This program is meant for Registered Nurses wanting to obtain their BSN.  The majority of programs require that you have your associate's degree in nursing (ADN). 

Must Dos: Students must apply to the University of Kansas and to the College of Nursing.

Program Length: Curriculum is 30-35 credit hours long. It can be completed in as little as one year.

Prerequisites: Courses include English Composition I/II, Humanities elective course, Speech, Psychology, Sociology, Child or Human Development, Non-Western Culture course, Chemistry with Lab, Microbiology with Lab, Anatomy & Physiology I/II with Lab, College Algebra, Statistics, and Human Nutrition.

Prior Classwork Information: Students must have at least a 2.5 cumulative GPA.
