Basic Information: Samford University is located in Birmingham, Alabama. This program is set up for the entry-level freshman wishing to gain their BSN or transfer students who have completed their general education requirements.
Must Dos: Students must apply to Samford University and to the College of Nursing.
Program Length: Four years.
Nursing Prerequisites: Students must have a minimum science GPA of 2.3 on a 4.0 scale in all required college courses (anatomy, physiology, microbiology, chemistry) or to be considered for conditional admission, a student must have a 2.3 in two of the four required courses.
Prior Classwork Information: Transfer applicants must have a minimum cumulative GPA of at least a 3.0 or higher with 24 credits or more OR a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.7 with a minimum ACT score of 21 or minimum SAT score of 1000.
