Must Dos: Students must apply to Pittsburg State University and to the College of Nursing.

Program Length: The length depends on how many courses the student decides to take each semester.  The nursing program is a total of 30-38 credit hours depending on how many elective credits are required to graduate.

Nursing Prerequisites: All prerequisite courses can be found in the program guide between pages 12 and 15. Courses that must be completed with a grade of a C or better include Anatomy & Physiology, Chemistry, College Algebra, Psychology, Developmental Psychology, Microbiology, Nutrition, and Sociology.

Prior Classwork Information: Students must have a cumulative GPA of at least 2.75 or higher.
