Second Degree Accelerated BSN




 

Basic Information: Northern Arizona University is located in Flagstaff, Arizona. NAU admits 30 students per year.  This program is for students who have already earned a bachelor's degree in another field and have finished the basic requirements for their BSN. 

Must Dos: Students must apply to Northern Arizona University and to the College of Nursing. Students must have a bachelor's degree in a non-nursing field.

Program Length: One year.

Nursing Prerequisites: Courses include Anatomy & Physiology I/II with Lab, Microbiology with Lab, Pathology, Psychology, Developmental Psychology, Nutrition & Food Selection OR Medical Nutrition, and Applied Statistics OR Introduction to Statistics in Psychology.

Prior Classwork Information: Students must have at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA.
