Second Degree Accelerated BSN
Basic Information: Illinois State University is located in Normal, Illinois. This program is for students who have already earned a bachelor's degree in another field and have finished the basic requirements for their BSN.
Must Dos: Students must apply to Illinois State University and to the College of Nursing. Students must have completed a bachelor's degree in a field other than nursing.
Program Length: Fifteen months. This program starts in May and ends the next year in August.
Nursing Prerequisites: Fundamentals of Chemistry, Statistics, Psychology, Lifespan Development, Microbiology, Anatomy & Physiology I/II, Nutrition, and Medical Terminology. All classes must be completed with at least a grade of C or better.
Prior Classwork Information: Students must have a cumulative GPA of at least a 2.5 or better.
