Second Degree Accelerated BSN
Basic Information: East Carolina University is located in Greenville, North Carolina. This program is for students who have already earned a bachelor's degree in another field and have finished the basic requirements for their BSN.
Must Dos: Students must apply to East Carolina University and to the College of Nursing.
Program Length: 12 months.
Nursing Prerequisites: Courses include Microbiology with Lab, Anatomy & Physiology with Lab, Chemistry, Bio & Organic Chemistry, College Algebra, Nutrition, Ethics, Psychology, Sociology, and Developmental Psychology. Prerequisite courses relating to biology, chemistry, and mathematics must be completed with a grade of B or better. All other prerequisite courses must be completed with a grade of C or better.
Prior Classwork Information: Students must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better.
