Colorado State University RN to BSN




 

Basic Information: Colorado State University is located in Pueblo, Colorado.  This program is meant for Registered Nurses wanting to obtain their BSN.  The majority of programs require that you have your associate's degree in nursing (ADN). 

Must Dos: Students must apply to Colorado State University and to the College of Nursing.

Program Length: The length of the program depends on how many general education and science classes the student has completed.  There are 33 credits given through the articulation agreement, 43 credits of prerequisite or co-requisite courses, and 44 credits of nursing courses.  Number of total credits to graduate is 120 so elective courses bridge the gap between the above courses and the total required credits.

Prerequisites: Courses include English Composition I/II, Speaking & Listening, Anatomy & Physiology I/II with Lab, Chemistry with Lab, Microbiology with Lab, Human Development, Statistics, Foreign Language, Humanities, History, and a Social Science course.

Prior Classwork Information: Students must have a cumulative GPA of at least a 3.0.
