Basic Arkansas Demographics

Arkansas became the 25th state in 1836.  The capital of Arkansas is Little Rock.  In 2015 Arkansas had an estimated population of 2,915,918 people.  The state's largest city is Little Rock followed by Fort Smith, Fayetteville, Springdale, Jonesboro, North Little Rock, Conway, Rogers, and Pine Bluff.  Considered The Land of Opportunity, Arkansas is a great state to start your nursing education!
