Adelphi University RN to BSN
Basic Information: Adelphi Univeristy is located in Garden City, New York. This program is meant for Registered Nurses wanting to obtain their BSN. The majority of programs require that you have your associate's degree in nursing (ADN).
Must Dos: Students must apply to Adelphi University and to the College of Nursing.
Program Length: There are 30 credits of upper division nursing courses required for the RN to BSN program.
Nursing Prerequisites: Courses include Anatomy & Physiology I/II, Microbiology, Chemistry, Statistics, and Organizational Behavior.
Prior Classwork Information: Students must have a prior GPA of at least a 3.0 or higher. Students must meet all admission requirements of the university as found in the admission application for Adelphi University.

Admission Tests: Adelphi University's website states that "diploma graduates are required to take and pass 24 credits from Excelsior College. Students are required to take Excelsior Exams in the following areas: adult nursing, maternal and child nursing and psychiatric/mental health nursing (at the baccalaureate level).
